July 29, 2010:
Band of Brothers is a one day family event that is taking place at a farm located at 256, 8th line South Dummer. All money raised by this event will be going directly to Soldier On which aids in the cost of rehabilitation of our injured troops and their families with no administrative fees attached. Live entertainment will be going on in our retrofitted barn all day, along with numerous activities throughout the grounds. Numerous dignitaries will be attending including Warrant Officer Andrew McLean who runs the Soldier On program. We are currently setting up a live feed so that our troops on base and overseas will be able to enjoy the festival as well. Our event is endorsed by the CAF and the Royal Canadian Legion. We are in need of volunteers to help before and during this event, also there are outside spaces available for local vendors to participate.
