Tay River Gallery presents Call of the Wild.
Canadian Wilderness Art Exhibition (April 1 to May 30, 2008) featuring
over 20 artists with paintings and photography of wildlife and landscapes.
Featuring Kelly McNeil, France Tremblay, J. Allison Robichaud, Alan Bain,
Charles Spratt, Leah Dockrill and other gallery and guest artists. Gallery

April 3, 2008:
Impact World Tour. Three teams made up of skateboarders,
BMX, dancers, culteral artists and athletes will perform at the new K-Rock

April 4, 2008:
Chameleon Nation - Creative Emporium, 112 Princess
Street will be transforming the gallery space into a garden during the
month of April. Royal Academy member and former Artist In Residence
at Queen’s University, Jennifer Dickson, is returning to Kingston with
her historical images of worldwide gardens. Kingston artists Barry Blunden,
duerst, Alexi Hunter, Kevin Lockau, Marney McDiarmid, Jane Owen, and Cher
Reynolds join in the unique show. Meet the artists on April 4th between
4:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m. at the gallery at 112 Princess St. Our community partner
for the month will be the Canadian Cancer Society. We will be supporting
CCS as a venue for selling daffodils on Saturday, March 29th, 2008. Other
community partners for this One of Kind event include Fruitalicious, L.S.P.
Designs, and Serenity Spa.

The Pumpkin Pie Coffee House Music Series is

The Canadian Guitar Festival presents FREE BOB!
with Don Ross and Brooke Miller at Time to Laugh Comedy Club, 394 Princess
Street. Critically acclaimed 'Guitar-God' Don Ross and 2007 Colleen Peterson
Songwriting award winner Brooke Miller return to Kingston for one night
only in support of Queen's University professor Robert Lovelace who was
recently jailed for six months as a result of his steadfast though passive
stance on Uranium mining near Sharbot Lake. The music begins at 8:00 pm
but doors will open at 7:00 and include speakers close to the subject.

Ban Righ Centre presents the Noon Hour Speaker
Series. Emotional Places: Paradoxical Spaces with Cheryl Sutherland: M.A.
Candidate (Geography). To illustrate the findings from a research project
conducted with (im)migrant women in Kingston and Peterborough, this talk
will include photographs taken by the women who participated as a way of

Gardiners Town Centre Family Fun Fair Raises
Spirits and Money for the Kingston Youth Arts Cooperative. Classic children’s
carnival rides, games and cotton candy are just some of the things moms,
dads and kids can expect at the Gardiners Town Centre Family Fun Fair,
Thursday, April 24 to Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Gardiners Town Centre,
466 Gardiners Road. The Gardiners Town Centre Family Fun Fair is a community
carnival in support of the Kingston Youth Arts Cooperative. The cooperative,

An Evening For The Cure will be held Friday April
25, 2008 at Confederation Place Hotel. Enjoy a night with live entertainment,

The Queen’s Performing Arts are pleased to present
the 2007-08 Grant Hall Series, an exciting program featuring some of the
