Wheels
In Motion is an event held in communities across Canada to raise funds
to improve the quality of life of people with spinal cord injury and for
research leading to a cure. |
| 4th
annual Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion event took place
in communities across Canada on Sunday, June 11, 2006. People of all ages
and abilities came together to wheel, run or walk to improve the lives
of people with spinal cord injury. The 2006 event in Kingston was held
at Confederation Basin across from Kingston City Hall. |
A
spinal cord injury can happen to anyone, at anytime. When we participate
in a Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion event, we contribute to a new possibility
for every man, woman and child who is currently living with SCI and for
those who will be injured in the future. Funds raised go toward quality
of life needs in the community and research. |
