Young Heritage 2003 Awards were presented to the 10 schools who participated with singer/songwriter, David Archibald in the creation of the successful "Kingston Rocks!" CD: St. Martha Catholic School, St. Patrick Catholic School, Ecole Cathédrale Central School, Sydenham Public School, Central Public School, Winston Churchill Public School, Calvin Park Public School, Polson Park Public School, Rideau Public School and Centennial Public School.
Each year on June 15, citizens of Kingston gather to celebrate the city's unique place in history - the place where a patchwork of government became an integrated system, and set the framework for today's government of Canada. Revenue from the sale of "Kingston Rocks!" will support next year's First Capital Day project programming.
