The
East Coast is famous for its seafood, fiddle music and a little lady who
humps things, named Nikki Payne. Growing up in a trailer park with a speech
impediment may sound tragic to many, but it is comedic gold to Nikki Payne.
Not letting anything stand in her way, she has been nominated for two Gemini
Awards, and has won countless Canadian Comedy Awards. She is most known
for her appearance on NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’ and Much Music’s ‘Video
on Trial’. Nikki has written for ‘This Hour Has 22 Minutes", ‘Comedy Inc’
and ‘Pop- Cultured’. Nikki’s CTV’s ‘Comedy Now’ Special is one of the highest
rated ever in the entire world’s history! Nikki also lent her unique voice
to Disney’s ‘The Wild’ as a monkey with braces. When she is not winning
awards she is developing a new CTV show in her secret underground laboratory.
It is no surprise to learn that Nikki has garnered a lot of attention south
of the border. The Hollywood Reporter publication raved about Nikki’s performance
at the ‘Just For Laughs’ Festival in Montreal. It seems the world cannot
get enough of this little firecracker. Nikki also finds the time to sit
on the board of directors for a charity called "Making Faces", a group
that teaches improv and acting classes to promote self-esteem in children
who are afflicted with facial deformities. In conclusion, to quote Nikki’s
mom, "She’s just so darn cute", you won’t want to miss her!
Comedian Arthur Simeon, aka The Bishop,
is THAT African Guy on Stage and off it. Arthur was born and raised in
Kampala, Uganda and draws on most of his experiences to inspire his Stand-up
material. Tall Dark and really, really Weird, Arthur Simeon takes you to
the funny side of being an African in North America. Arthur is the consummate
performer and has been seen on stages across Canada. Having moved to Canada
as a teenager, Arthur fell in love with comedy and one day stepped up to
the challenge at Amateur Night at Toronto's Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club. He has
since performed on many different stages including the annual Accent on
Toronto series for CBC Radio and the Mother's Day International Comedy
Clash. In 2007, he became one of the youngest headliners of the All Black
Comedy Show in Toronto and was also a finalist for the Cream of Comedy
competition that celebrates Toronto's young comedians. He is the host of
the very successful Princes of Comedy series. Arthur’s young career is
quickly on the rise as he continues to earn laughter from his audiences
and respect from his peers. |

Aaron
Berg returns to Time To Laugh Comedy Club with an all-new show! Playing
a supporting role in Horror Icon Rob Schmidt’s much anticipated gore filled
flick BAD MEAT was just the start of a busy year for Aaron. He followed
up that film with the role of Jo Jo Rhama in the already huge, soon to
be released masterpiece by Troy Duffy THE BOONDOCK SAINTS II – ALL SAINTS
DAY. It’s not just what Aaron does that makes him who he is but what he
doesn’t do as well…One of a select group of comedians to turn down Last
Comic Standing due to it’s irreverent approach to mediocrity and his refusal
to have anything to do with any of the sellout music-television stations
gives him a great crutch known as integrity. Aaron has been nominated for
two Canadian Comedy Awards (2004-Best One Person Show, 2005- Best new Stand-up)
and is the writer/performer of THE UNDERBELLY DIARIES, the sordid tales
of his experiences in the sex-trade. The choice of an upper class Jewish
kid to work as a stripper, hustler and part-time pimp instead of attending
law school was a result of his individual insecurity which evolved into
flamboyant narcissism and the striving for physical perfection. The critically
acclaimed one-man show has toured CALIFORNIA and CANADA. He holds an honors
degree in Philosophy (specializing in existentialism and theology) from
the University of New Brunswick. Aaron currently resides in Toronto. Aaron
has also appeared in the award winning films THE LOOKOUT, SKINHEADS and
was winner of the 2007 COCA COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR.
Bryan
O'Gorman is a 25 year old stand up comedian and social violator. A survivor
of Markham's catholic school system, Bryan is now devoted to sinning as
much as humanly possible. He is the host and founder of Canada's two largest
weekly marijuana friendly comedy shows, at Vapor Central in Toronto. Last
year, Bryan was added to the Yuk Yuk's roster and is a member of the internationally
despised sketch troupe, 3rd Klass. Bryan has been profiled by the Comedy
Network, The Toronto Sun, NOW magazine, The Torontoist and become a regular
guest on EDGE 102 all within the last year. A truly unique, creative performer
and the world's fattest anorexic, Bryan O'Gorman is one of Canada's best
kept secrets. |

 |
Presents |

Rebecca
Kohler |
Regular $15.75
per person $12.95 Students each
Dinner & Show with the
Grizzly Grill $42.00 per person plus taxes |

Since
entering the Yuk Yuks Search for Canada's Funniest New Comic early on in
her career, Laverty has traveled from Vancouver to St. John's. In 2001
she toured Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, South Africa. She is a favourite
with clubs, community fundraisers and Military posts. In October of 2006
she performed at a NATO base in Germany and hopes one day to travel the
world performing for all of the military personnel. Laverty's big dream
in life was to become a sex therapist, but since that involved going back
to school she decided that hosting "The Everything To Do With Sex Show"
in 2004 was credit enough. Shannon's TV and Radio credits include Listed
(Much More Music), Club 54 , "Fruitopia Comedy Funfest" at Paramount Canada's
Wonderland (broadcast on CKVR-TV), The Movie Network's Pay-Per-View comedy
Special "Mondo Taboo 2", She's So Funny and Funny Girls on the Woman's
Television Network, Comics (On CBC-appeared in 2 B roles) and Yuk Yuk's-The
Radio Show, on the Telemedia Network. Shannon has also made numerous appearances
at the Molson Canadian Toronto Comedy Festival. She has also been nominated
4 times for the Canadian Comedy Awards. Laverty's on stage persona is proud
to be provocative. Her Mae West come-hither attitude will draw you in and
her flirtatious delivery has been embraced by both sexes.
Fathered by an eccentric and quick-witted
Canadian diplomat, Rebecca Kohler has made her home all over the world.
From Brazil to Thailand, Rebecca learned that the one thing that tied people
together was their love of laughter and pointing at her. After moving to
Montreal, Rebecca took the stage for the first time and was met with great
success. The laughter remained, but the pointing (mostly) stopped. Working
very hard to establish herself as more than just a run of the mill female
stand-up, Rebecca became one of the defining voices of the Montreal scene.
Living in Toronto, Rebecca looks forward to taking the streetcar... and
doing a lot of comedy. Her credits include: The Broad Appeal Show, The
Just For Laughs Homegrown Competition (local), The Young Guns of Stand
Up Comedy, The New Voices of Comedy, The Geeks of Comedy and Comedy Night
In Canada at the Just For Laughs Festival. |

Terry
Clement presents an uncompromising, multi-media comedy freak-out that pushes
the boundaries of reality, taste and modern humour. Terry’s show is a highly
original, progressive comedy experience that is more of a theatrical presentation
than it is a stand-up comedy routine. Clement has performed at the Cape
Town Comedy Festival in South Africa and the Reading Music Festival in
England in addition to spots on the Paramount TV show "The World Stands
Up" in the UK. Terry has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award
as well as a COCA Comedy Artist of the Year Award. He has toured across
Canada and the U.K. performing at comedy clubs, colleges and "alternative’
comedy venues along the way.
Born and raised in Toronto, Dave Martin
believes anything can be made funny if approached at the right angle. In
his 12 years on the Canadian comedy scene Dave has performed at the Late
Night Danger Zone at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal and
has had his own hour-long stand-up comedy special for "Comedy Now" on CTV
and The Comedy Network. He has been featured in a recent National Film
Board of Canada documentary on Toronto stand-up comics called “The Next
Big Thing” and has also had numerous appearances on Laugh Attack on XM
Satellite Radio & C.B.C/ Sirius Satellite Radio. Most recently Dave
Martin made the Toronto Finals of Last Comic Standing on NBC. Dave can
be seen regularly at Yuk Yuk’s comedy clubs from the East Coast to the
West Coast. Don’t miss his sometimes dark but always hilarious observations
on the world we live in. |

Kenny
Robinson is one of the few comedians that can be called a Canadian Comedy
legend. For over 25 years Kenny Robinson has been touring across North
America winning both audiences and critical acclaim with his raucous, irreverent,
profane and opinionated brand of "in your face" style of comedy and social
commentary. Kenny Robinson has appeared at the renowned Montreal Just for
Laughs Comedy Festival, Laffapalooza Urban Comedy Festival in Atlanta,
The CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Zanies, L.A.'s Comedy Store and Improv,
has had his own CBC television special of "Comics", and is the founder
of the Nubian Disciples All Black Comedy Revue, (entering its 11th year)

the stage with such comedians as Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey,
Norm McDonald, Russell Peters, Robert Schimmel, Tommy Davidson, Tommy Chong,
Margaret Cho, Paul Mooney, Lenny Clark, Phyllis Diller, and the late, great,
Sam Kinison. Robinson has co hosted The Gemini Awards, as well being twice
nominated for his groundbreaking CBC television special "Thick and Thin".
He is also the creator, writer and host of the Comedy Networks edgy show

and the pursuit of a perfect lawn, he’s guaranteed to provide people with
a good night out. Having once been voted the funniest man in Ottawa he’s
since travelled performing in clubs, halls, and military bases from coast
to coast.
