Terry
Clement presents an uncompromising, multi-media comedy freak-out that pushes
the boundaries of reality, taste and modern humour. Terry’s show is a highly
original, progressive comedy experience that is more of a theatrical presentation
than it is a stand-up comedy routine. Clement has performed at the Cape
Town Comedy Festival in South Africa and the Reading Music Festival in
England in addition to spots on the Paramount TV show "The World Stands
Up" in the UK. Terry has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award
as well as a COCA Comedy Artist of the Year Award. He has toured across
Canada and the U.K. performing at comedy clubs, colleges and "alternative’
comedy venues along the way. Fans raved at his Time To Laugh Comedy Club
performance of Ted Hollister's Cow with Nikki Payne!
Darren Frost was twice awarded Top Ten
Comedy Moments Of The Year by Toronto entertainment magazine Now. Darren
has been awarded the prestigious Kari Award for Best Performance in a commercial
in Canada. At the 2005 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Darren

Nasty Show and the Gala. He also took his comedy shenanigans international
with shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. He has numerous

Fallon film Fever Pitch, and a role in the Michael Douglas feature Don’t
Say A Word. Television roles in Disney’s Santa Who? and a role in Kojak,

Showtime’s Gahan Wilson’s The Kid, and Fox’s Medabots. He also has been

Life Fairy, and old favourites: Microsoft’s Hermes Messenger of the Gods,

fudge: you decide. Direct from Brantford, Ontario, he’ll have you convicted
and healed all at once.

Dave
Martin was born and raised in Toronto and believes anything can be made
funny if approached at the right angle. Dave received his own hour-long
stand-up comedy special for "Comedy Now" on CTV. He was featured in the
National Film Board of Canada’s a documentary on stand-up comics called
“The Next Big Thing” Dave has also had numerous appearances on Laugh Attack
on XM Satellite Radio & C.B.C/ Sirius Satellite Radio. Most recently
he made it to the Toronto finals of Last Comic Standing and is the host
of his own pod cast Corktown Radio that can be found at corktownradio.com.
Don’t miss his up front dark and hilarious observations on the world we
live.
A much loved headliner with the Yuk Yuks
chain of comedy clubs, Derek has worked with some of Canada’s best, like
Russell Peters, George Strombolopoulous, Steve Patterson, Jeremy Hotz,
Mike McDonald, Joey Elias, Sugar Sammy, Mike Wilmot, Mike Ward and the
list goes on, often at their behest. Following last summer’s French Comedy
Bastards show which was a huge critical and commercial success at Just
for Laughs, demand for Derek Sequin’s appearances has skyrocketed. His
take on all things in life have a Quebecois flare to them but are hysterical
for everyone. He really connects with his audiences which makes him a fan
favourite wherever he goes. Whether he’s ragging on politics or describing
life with his 3 children, he brings us into his perspective without preaching
any selfish point of view… he’s simply fun to watch and listen to. He has
appeared at the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Global Vancouver Comedy
Festival, the CBC Ha!lifax Comedy Festival, The Grand Rire du Québec
Comedy Festival, several Just for Laughs and Juste pour Rire festivals,
the Sudbury Comedy Festival, the Canadian Comedy Awards and Festival and
the first ever Prince Edward island Comedy Festival… it’s been a festive
couple of years and he’s thrilled to be making his first ever stop
at the Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton in ‘09. Derek has been named to
the top ten funniest stand-up comedians in the Montreal Mirror’s “Best
of” readers’ poll since 2006 but he has fans from coast to coast in Canada.
Following an intense year of touring, a recent broadcast of a CBC / Just
for Laughs TV special, a few TV spots in French, as well as over a dozen
appearances on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”, Derek has really come to the
forefront when it comes to Canadian comedy.
Julia Hladkowicz is a comedian and actor
who has won numerous awards in the world of comedy such as the Hogtown
Comedy Festival Directors Award, 2008 Fresh Meat Showcase Nomination, the
prestigious Brian Linehan Scholarship Award and was crowned Last Comic
Smoking. She was a quarter-finalist in The Great Canadian Laugh Off, showcased
at LAFF(Ladies are Funny Festival) in Austin, Texas and will be performing
at NXNE. “Julia Hladkowicz is not only pretty, but super funny!”-indiscover.net.
This blonde dynamo is a rising star at Yuk Yuks Comedy Clubs, has appeared
on The Comedy Network and landed a hilarious US National commercial for
Lindt Chocolate with tennis icon Roger Federer. She recently returned from
a California tour where she performed at Punchline Comedy Club, The Improv,
The Comedy Store and Flapper’s Comedy Club. She is also the host and producer
of Grindhouse Comedy, a bi-monthly stand-up show. |

Dom
Pare is in possession of several attributes that just might help him achieve
his goal of succeeding in the cut-throat world of stand-up comedy. Those
attributes include a magnetic onstage charisma and a great gift for funny
observation. He has already used these tools to tremendous effect as he
has made it twice to the Ottawa finals of the Great Canadian Laugh Off,
was the top pick for CBC’s So You Think You’re Funny contest and was a
finalist in the Just For Laughs Homegrown Competition . He’s written for
The Debaters and is featured regularly on XM Radio. And most importantly,
he is driven by the ambition to transform the world with “beautiful, clever
dick jokes”. If anyone can pull it off, it’s Dom Pare. “It” meaning ambition,
of course. Insert beautiful, clever tag here.
Kathleen McGee is the girl your parents
warned you about. She will make you laugh and blush all at the same time.
You may have seen her on Bite TV or touring all over Canada and most recently
she was the Comedy Channel's winner for the "Search for Russell Peter's
BFF." Kathleen's unapologetic, dark, and sassy sense of humour will
have you talking long after the show is over.
While most people his age were wasting
their time playing with rattles or breast feeding, by the age of 2 Bryan
O'Gorman was already touring the globe as a stand up comic and anti Rosie
O'Donnell activist. Now at the age of 26, Bryan has become Toronto's most
infamous professional jerk off. Known for his unique ability to combine
all aspects of comedy into a performance that will leave you feeling empowered
and horny. Bryan is the host/co-founder of Canada's largest open mic, "Weedy
Wednesday" at Vapor Central in Toronto and is a founding member of the
internationally despised sketch troupe, 3rd Klass. People who have thought
Bryan was cool enough to talk about in public include: CBC, The Comedy
Network, The Toronto Star, The Toronto Sun, NOW Magazine, The Varsity,
The Torontoist, Edge 102 and Fidel Castro. |

Kingston
Punk Productions, CFRC 101.9 FM presents presents F*CKED UP + Carvings,
Owl Farm, more! Fun House Fest 2012 at Time To Laugh Comedy Club, 394 Princess
Street.
F*cked Up is a hardcore
punk band from Toronto. The band won the 2009 Polaris Music Prize for the
album The Chemistry of Common Life. Right from the start this Toronto band
has been pushing musical and conceptual boundaries. Forming ostensibly
as a punk band, they swiftly took on hardcore and twisted it into their
own version, with a psychedelic edge, unexpected instrumentation like flute
and keyboards, and songs stretched to perverse lengths.
All-Ages/Licensed
event 6-10pm. $22 advance tickets available at Brian's Record Option, The
Jungle, Tricolour Outlet (Queen's) and www.ticketscene.ca.
